![]() This mainly came down to very poor feedback in the game. Originally posted by Imbalanxd:I'll use that gadget switch technique in future, thanks. These rounds are all I have to kill it, and these rounds are not enough. There is nothing to pick up on the ground. I've now had to load in at this boss fight, and I have been provided with 10 shotgun rounds, and 3 sniper rifle rounds. ![]() Well, I'm like 20 tries in, and I have dodged every single swing the thing has taken, I have attacked at every opportunity I was given, and I have hit a vulnerable spot withĪnd the thing hasn't died. Ok, so I take my time, but oh no, they only give you enough filters to last for 1 minute. After a couple more tries, I start thinking that I guess I really need to be accurate and make every single shot hit, otherwise I can't kill this thing. Like even a kid could immediately see that.Īny way, so I get to the part where you have to cross the log and then fight it, and things go pretty badly the first time. But then they put you in a scenario where you are meant to fight it not even 30 seconds later? That is fundamentally terrible encounter design. Ok, I thought, I guess that isn't such a big deal. You are apparently just meant to run from it. I spent 2 or 3 hours fighting the big green master in the second area you meet it, only to find out through trial and error that you can't actually kill the thing at that point. Metro Last Light is definitely a great game overall, but they seriously need to fire their level designers. ![]() Ok so this part started out pretty stupidly. ![]()
